Strange and Wonderful Places

There are lots of new places for me to explore now that I'm back in Bloomington, places that are not always what they seem. Fortunately, my family is there to give me the insider's guide. Nola invited me and Louise to a place called the Farm ...

... which turned out to be not a farm at all, but a new slow-food restaurant on the square. They have delicious biscuits and fresh eggs.

And a shop where you can buy environmentally sound cleaning supplies, loofahs, and many other wonderful things.

A few days later, Mimi invited me and Mom to go to this warehouse, which doesn't look very exciting ...

... but which turned out to be the site of a massive garage sale to benefit the Historical Society, and was full of all sorts of treasures.

Apparently Bloomington is full of strange and wonderful places.
