Remember those Scholastic book fairs in elementary school? Your class would go into the library and look at rows of books, posters, and cool classroom supplies, and then you would fill out an order form, and weeks later a cart would roll into your classroom with a packet of shiny new books for you. That was the memory that David and I got to re-live last night at the book fair hosted by Temporary Librarian.
It was amazing! So much bigger, brighter, and more beautiful than any of the book fairs from our childhoods. This picture only shows a tiny part of the book fair, but you can see how visually appealing everything was. Also, you could pick out books and take them home on the spot!
Which we did.
